[seattle, WA wedding photography] justin + amberlie

She says…

His undefeated team was down to the last plays when he received a serious head injury that resulted in surgery.  The surgeon re-pieced bones back together in his super orbital rim. Of the 12 hours we spent in the hospital, I will never forget watching him lay unconscious.  My love for him grew immensely as I helplessly sat by his bedside.  When he was able to mutter, “It hurts”, I just cried.  As I cared for him following the surgery I began to realize he was the man I never wanted to live without.

He says…

Lying in my hospital bed, I saw Amberlie’s concerned eyes as I told her everything would be all right. The next thing I knew, there was unbelievable pain.  I couldn’t speak or move.  I recall whispering, “hurt”.  For hours I drifted between consciousnesses, comforted Amberlie was by my side. At times I needed and softly heard her reminder, “breathe.” I love her, and know I’ll also never leave her side.

How are two people from 2,921 miles apart, engaged 4 months and 11 days after the day they met?

Love changes everything.

It was a true delight to photograph Justin and Amberlie on their wedding day! They are the winners of my wedding giveaway, and they were a perfect fit! The sweetness of their relationship just oozes everywhere they go. Family and friends were so happy and supportive, and the entire day was filled with sunshine and love! These two were so relaxed, excited, happy and wonderful to work with! I love them and their story and am so happy I was able to be a part of it.

People… this really happened. No photoshop whatsoever!
The reception was held later that evening and everything was so pretty and cute and adorable!
First dance as Mr + Mrs Andelin…
Congratulations, Justin and Amberlie! I wish you the BEST and am so happy for you two!
