Redlands Temple Wedding | Lily & Jacob
As a wedding photographer, I've been fortunate to shoot at the beautiful Redlands Temple many times, but this one was special. Not only was it on a rainy day, but the bride and groom opted for a "first look" session or formal session prior to their wedding date at the temple, which allowed for more flexibility with their wedding day schedule. We also decided to head over to Prospect Park, a beautiful location nearby, to capture some stunning portraits of the bride and groom among the orange groves at sunset.
When the day of the wedding arrived, it was pouring rain. But because we had already taken the formal photos during the "first look" session, we were able to make the most of the weather which led to a calm and happy experience taking photographs of families and friends outside the temple.
If you're planning a Redlands Temple wedding, I highly recommend considering a "first look" or formal session. It's a great way to get some beautiful photos in a relaxed environment, and it also allows for more flexibility with your wedding day schedule. Plus, you never know when the weather might not cooperate! I also recommend hiring a photographer with experience with LDS weddings, or be sure to educate whoever you choose since they are quite different than typical civil weddings. Enjoy a sampling of photographs from this beautiful rainy wedding at the Redlands, CA LDS temple.
